Universal Studios Holiday Program Begins November 21 and Runs Through January 3

UNIVERSAL CITY, Los Angeles County — Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that its 2026–27 holiday programming will begin on Saturday, November 21, 2026, and continue through Sunday, January 3, 2027.

The company’s October 8 announcement names Grinchmas, Illumination’s Merry Minions, Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and seasonal experiences in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.

What is confirmed?

The company has given the overall program dates and the entertainment themes. Individual appearances, attraction operations and crowd management can vary by date; a broad seasonal announcement is not a promise that every activity will be offered at every hour. Visitors should check the park’s calendar and ticket rules.

Getting to Universal City

Metro’s B Line serves Universal City/Studio City station on Lankershim Boulevard, and the theme park describes a free connecting shuttle. Public transportation can reduce the need to pay for parking, but travelers should consult current service frequency and accessibility information before leaving home.

There is no need to treat the program as already underway on November 1: the announced opening is still in the future. Local businesses should verify any changes to holiday access and traffic notices from the responsible agencies.
